Definition

Confirmed cholera cases, including those confirmed clinically, epidemiologically, or by laboratory investigation. Cases that have been discarded following laboratory investigation should not be included.

WHO transmits data as reported by national authorities (ministries of health). Type of statistics: unadjusted
